Chris Nemes, CPA, MBA

“I built my business by building trust with clients.  I want to be remembered as a loving father, an astute leader and a trusted friend.”

A partner at Nemes Rush, Chris is responsible for leading his clients through each stage of their financial lives. He is known to his clients as a responsive, strategic partner in their journey to preserve and grow their financial legacy. In addition, he serves as the firm’s CFO and manages the internal finance and accounting functions.

Prior to becoming an investment professional, Chris learned the importance of financial planning and investment analysis as a certified public accountant (CPA) serving private equity and hedge funds clients at Deloitte. His deep understanding of tax and estate planning strategies—combined with his energy, optimism and client-focused resolve—enables him to regularly find solutions for clients where others can’t or didn’t think one was possible.

Prior to co-founding Nemes Rush, Chris served as a Financial Advisor at Raymond James. He holds an MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy College of Business and graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Detroit Mercy, where he captained the Division I Men’s Lacrosse team. Chris lives in Novi, Michigan with his wife, Lisa, and son, Charlie. He enjoys volunteering, golfing and endurance training.
